About Us

We are professional physicists, mathematicians, and scientific programmers. We have very strong backgrounds in signal processing. But we are also musicians, composers, recording engineers, and lovers of sound.

We set out more than six years ago to overcome hearing loss when it was found that there is no such thing for musical sound. People with severe hearing loss might attempt to use hearing aids. We dislike that approach, they don't sound very good, and we aren't alone in that sentiment. We were determined to do much better than that... and we have. We have succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.

There are progressive degrees of "perfection". During these past six years we reached successive plateaus of perfection and gained experience supporting clients who needed to recover musical hearing. Along the way we were also cognizant that all of our attempts were but mere approximations to what our equations told us were needed.

Each step to the next plateau represented a quantum leap in the fidelity of our solutions. Our final attempt, the System 5000, represents the ultimate solution to our equations. If you could have enough signal processing horsepower to do the ultimate computations, this is what you would have.

Today we finally have audio equipment that can stand up to this demanding task. It is no longer a dream for us. We have finally implemented the ultimate corrective solution and we want to share it with you.
